Newegg has lowered the price of the ABS Stratos II Ruby gaming PC by $450. The system is now listed at $2,549.99.

The build features an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR5 memory. ABS is a brand owned by Newegg, which lists many of its systems on the retailer's platform.

According to Tom's Hardware, this specific model is currently the cheapest pre-built PC on Newegg that uses the RTX 5070 Ti. The outlet expects the discounted stock to sell out quickly.

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an eight-core chip with 96MB of L3 cache. This design uses AMD's 3D V-Cache technology to reduce latency. Tom's Hardware notes that while the chip no longer tops its CPU benchmarks, it remains very close to the top. The outlet states that no Intel processor currently matches the gaming performance of this X3D part.

The RTX 5070 Ti is a current-generation Blackwell card. It has 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 memory. This configuration supports 1440p and 4K gaming. The card includes DLSS with multi-frame generation. Users can run current titles at 4K with ray tracing enabled, though they may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games.

The system uses two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage consists of a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages the processor's heat.

Tom's Hardware described the price as strong for the current market. The assessment cited both the $450 discount and the combination of the 9800X3D processor with the RTX 5070 Ti card.
