Philadelphia residents have until Monday, October 19, at 11:59 P.M. to register for the November 3 municipal general election. The city published its official election guide on October 26, detailing the procedures required for voters to cast ballots in the upcoming vote.
Registration is mandatory to participate in the 2026 municipal election. Officials provided three distinct channels for individuals to complete this requirement. Voters may submit forms by mail, online, or in person at designated city locations.
Those choosing the mail option must download, fill out, and send a registration form to the County Board of Elections. The board must physically receive the document by October 20. A postmark date alone does not satisfy this requirement.
Online registration is available through the city's dedicated portal at vote.phila.gov/register. This method allows residents to either create a new registration or update an existing one.
In-person options include City Hall Room 142 and the Voter Registration Office located at 520 N Columbus Blvd. Additionally, the City Commissioners operate ten permanent satellite election offices throughout the city. An interactive map and a full list of these locations are available at vote.phila.gov/seos.
The city released this guide to assist residents in preparing for Election Day. The document serves as the primary reference for voting information and available resources for the November 3 contest.
