Best Buy reduced the price of the Acer Predator XB27OU gaming monitor by $50 on October 23, 2026. The 27-inch display now costs $329.99. This price cut targets gamers considering an upgrade from IPS panels to OLED screens.
The monitor features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel. It outputs a maximum resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels, a standard known as QHD or 2K. Tom's Hardware notes that this resolution is compatible with mid-range graphics cards. These cards can maintain the required frame rates without excessive strain.
The screen refreshes at 240Hz. It has a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03 milliseconds. OLED technology enables this speed. The high refresh rate and low response time prevent ghosting and ensure smooth motion during gameplay.
The display supports AMD's FreeSync Premium. This technology synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with the game's frame rate. The result is a screen free of tearing. Color performance is also a key feature of the QD-OLED panel.
The XB27OU covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It maintains a Delta E accuracy below 2. The monitor supports HDR10, a 10-bit standard. This specification improves contrast, color depth, and brightness compared to standard dynamic range displays. OLED panels produce deep blacks and high contrast.
The unit includes two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. These connections allow users to attach a gaming PC and multiple game consoles to the same screen. Shoppers can purchase the monitor at Best Buy for $329.99.
