Marcus Theatres is cutting drink prices and screening baseball documentaries to help the Milwaukee area prepare for the upcoming World Series. The chain announced a package of deals and film events for fans who want to watch the games in theaters rather than at home. The company aims to turn its Wisconsin locations into gathering spots for supporters of the Brewers.

Jeff Tomachek, president of Marcus Theatres, said the organization has waited 44 years for a moment like this. He stated that the company wants its venues to serve as places where fans can celebrate with friends. Tomachek noted that the chain is excited to celebrate alongside the Milwaukee community.

Theater goers can take advantage of specific game day pricing at participating sites. Domestic drafts cost $5, while Game Time Lemonades are priced at $9. The menu also includes $10 medium pizzas and half price appetizers. These offers are available at locations that host watch parties.

The company is also bringing two pieces of local baseball history back to the big screen. Screenings will feature the documentary 'UECK' and the film 'Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers.' These movies are being shown at ten Marcus locations across the state. Sites include Marcus Bay Park Cinema in Ashwaubenon, Marcus Green Bay East Cinema in Green Bay, and Marcus Hillside Cinema in Delafield.

Additional screenings are scheduled at Marcus Hollywood Cinema and Marcus Valley Grand Cinema in Appleton. Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield in Waukesha and Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema in Menomonee Falls will also host the films. Marcus Renaissance Cinema in Sturtevant, Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Marcus Sheboygan Cinema in Sheboygan, and Marcus South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek round out the list.

Fans can watch the World Series games on TVs and digital projectors in the bars and lounges at several Marcus locations. Participating sites for watch parties include Movie Tavern Brookfield and Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield. Marcus Renaissance and Marcus Menomonee Falls are also participating. Marcus North Shore Cinema and Marcus BistroPlex will host fans as well. The Wall at Gurnee Cinema is offering a sports bar experience for viewers.

Members of the Magical Movie Rewards program can earn a voucher for one free Junior popcorn. To qualify, members must see any movie through October 31. The voucher is redeemable from November 4 through November 24. New users can sign up for free before their visit. Tickets and showtimes are available on the Marcus Theatres website and mobile app.
