Samsung has identified 40 specific Galaxy models that will receive the One UI 9 update, which is built on Android 17. The company published an official schedule for these devices, marking the next major wave of software distribution after the initial launch.
The update first became available in September for the Galaxy S26 series. Since that release, the software has reached several devices from the previous generation. The new list extends support to a wider range of flagships, foldables, and mid-range hardware.
The flagship lineup on the schedule includes the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra. Older flagships such as the Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra, along with the S24, S24 Ultra, and S24 FE, are also included. The Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra round out the S-series group. Foldable devices covered by the update include the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5.
Mid-range smartphones on the list comprise the Galaxy A57, A55, A54, A36, and A25. The tablet roster is extensive, featuring the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra, the Tab S10, S10 Plus, S10 Ultra, S10 FE, S10 FE Plus, and S10 Lite. Older tablets such as the Tab S9, S9 Plus, S9 Ultra, S9 FE, and S9 FE Plus are also scheduled for the update. The list concludes with the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024, Tab A11, Tab A11 Plus 5G, and Tab Active 5 Pro.
This list does not include every device that may eventually receive the software. Notable omissions include the Plus versions of recent Galaxy S flagships and various Galaxy A models sold in different markets. The timing provided by Samsung Japan applies strictly to that region, but the device list is expected to remain consistent globally.
In Japan, Samsung stated that the updates will arrive during October and November 2026. The company is anticipated to continue the global rollout beyond that period. Many entry-level devices are likely to receive the software through December and January, extending the distribution window well past the initial Q4 dates.
