Inde Navarrette hosted the Halloween episode of Saturday Night Live on Saturday, November 1, 2026. The broadcast drew 5.2 million viewers. This number stands as the highest audience count for Season 52 to date.
The result places Navarrette above other recent hosts of the current season. Jalen Brunson, Dakota Johnson, and Shane Gillis all hosted earlier episodes that attracted smaller audiences. Johnson's episode included a cameo by Taylor Swift, while Gillis's booking drew some debate.
The 5.2 million figure also ranks near the top of recent show history. In Season 51, only two episodes exceeded that mark. The first aired in December 2025 with Ariana Grande as host and Cher as musical guest. That episode reached 5.4 million viewers and marked Bowen Yang's final appearance as a cast member. The season finale featured Will Ferrell and Paul McCartney, drawing 5.3 million viewers.
On the Peacock streaming service, the episode achieved the highest performance since a March broadcast in Season 51. That earlier show featured Harry Styles as both host and musical guest. Among adults aged 18 to 49, the Navarrette episode posted the strongest rating since John Mulaney hosted in November 2024.
Social media metrics also reached a seasonal peak. Video content from the broadcast accumulated 325 million views across YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok. Gracie Abrams served as the musical guest for the night. Tom Hanks returned to his David S. Pumpkins character alongside former cast member Bobby Moynihan.
The next episode airs on November 7. Druski will host with The Strokes as the musical guest. On November 14, John Mulaney will return for his seventh hosting appearance, joined by Phoebe Bridgers.
