European football clubs continue to scout young talent from England. On October 26, 2026, reports surfaced that Paris Saint-Germain has entered the market for Manchester United forward JJ Gabriel.
According to Diario AS, the French club is now competing for the 16-year-old winger. This interest positions PSG against several other major European teams seeking to sign the player. The move represents a new development in the ongoing saga regarding Gabriel's future club.
Despite the new interest from PSG, other outlets maintain that Real Madrid remains the favorite to secure the signature. The Spanish giant has long been linked with the teenager. His representatives are currently engaged in discussions with multiple clubs across Europe to determine the best fit for his career.
A final decision on where Gabriel will play next season has not yet been made. The player's camp is weighing the options carefully. No contract has been signed, and the situation remains fluid as negotiations continue.
Manchester United is also active in the transfer market, focusing on strengthening its defensive line. The club is reportedly keen on signing Everton center back Jarrad Branthwaite. This pursuit is part of a larger plan to overhaul the backfield in upcoming windows.
United remains one of the frontrunners for the 24-year-old defender. The club has maintained interest since a previous offer of 45 million pounds was rejected in 2024. Liverpool is also interested in Branthwaite, though Everton may hesitate to sell to a local rival.
In another transaction involving Real Madrid, the club is being linked with Brighton midfielder Chema Andres. TEAMtalk reports that Brighton is confident there is no future clause allowing Madrid to sign the 21-year-old. Andres, who moved to Brighton for 15 million pounds last summer, has previously called a return to the Bernabeu an honor.
Scouting activity is also high for Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi. Chelsea and Manchester City sent observers to watch the 22-year-old score a hat trick on Sunday. He helped lead his team to a 3-2 victory over Sint-Truidense. His goal tally now stands at 12 in 14 appearances.
City views Tresoldi as a long-term replacement for Erling Haaland. Chelsea, meanwhile, sees him as a backup option for Joao Pedro. Inter Milan is in contract negotiations with wing back Federico Dimarco. An agreement exists for a two-year extension until 2028, but a salary gap of 7.5 million euros per season remains a hurdle.
Additional reports indicate Real Madrid is monitoring Manchester City's Rayan Cherki and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka. Everton, Napoli, and Tottenham are keeping tabs on Manchester United's Marcus Rashford. These movements illustrate the intense competition for key players across Europe.
